    Grand Canyon Rail Tours by Open Road Tours

    The two-day Grand Canyon Railroad Adventure consists of traveling through the Sonoran Desert. Visit places such as Flagstaff, Sedona, Williams, Grand Canyon Village and more. Spend a night at the Fray Marcos Hotel in Phoenix, which is located across from the rail depot.     Starting in Williams, AZ, visitors can get a feel for the "old west" by taking this historic trip on a steam powered locomotive 65 miles across desert and high desert plains right into Grand Canyon National Park. Upon arrival at the park, visitors have a three hour layover during which time they can sightsee or take a motorcoach tour. There is also a museum at the Williams Train depot.
